My first post in almost a year, and it’s to announce that I got hacked, and had to rebuild the website nearly from scratch.
The good news is that Wordpress is updated to the newest version.
The bad news is, still nothing new (Though I am writing, so don’t give up on me just yet)

I should just post when a show is on time, announcing it as an “early release”
I said I’d do my best to get the show out in February, but that’s not going to happen. A very busy month all around and, I won’t point the fingers at anybody but I’m going on vacation this week and won’t be back until March, at which time our final actor’s lines will be read and I will kick post-production into high gear.
No promises, but I’m shooting to release 2 shows in March to get back on track.

I have not been able to fix the problem with Podpress, but Wordpress has provided a workaround.
Enjoy your audio theater goodness.

Sorry that the latest Crimson Lien episode isn’t in the feed, but Podpress has decided that it shouldn’t be and I’ve been up for 24 hours straight. I’m going to sleep. If you want the file, you’ll have to come to the website to get it.
Eventually it’ll be in the feed. But not this morning.

Hopefully, you won’t even notice this, but I totally changed the way the feed functions after finding several problems that I’d have to go back through over 50 items and fix. Instead of doing that, I tossed the whole thing and installed Podpress to manage my feed.
Like I said, you shouldn’t even notice I made a change, but if you downloaded the past 5-10 shows over again… I’m sorry. It wasn’t intended.

That was quick. I settled on Simple Machines and it seems to work fine.

The forums are down. It seems the DB user for the forums reached our monthly limit on queries to the database so it’ll likely be down until January 1st. I know little to nothing about it though so it may be up tomorrow if I’m lucky.
Next month I’m going to look into installing a less feature-rich forum package. We don’t use 90% of what phpBB provides anyway.
If anybody has any suggestions, by all means reply here.

I donated a couple hours to edit together about a dozen people’s audio reads of a fun Christmas poem, in the third annual Christmas show from Podcast Pickle, A Pickle For Christmas.
The file isn’t on my site, so there’s no player, but you can download it from this link right here:
A Pickle For Christmas
I hope you don’t feel put out by this, and I surely hope you enjoy it. If you’re not one of the several faiths that religiously celebrate the holiday (I am not either) or are one of the plethora of faiths that don’t celebrate it at all (I’m not in that group) please take this as meant: A fun poem and collaborative effort by the podcasting community.
