Mary Is My Miggard

Friday, August 11th, 2006

You have to hear this. I reversed “I Luv Merica,” the song from Abducted, and it’s about 107 times more funny. Tell me he’s not saying “My Mary is my minimal, my Mary is my miggard, my Michael, my liquor and my Bud Light”

Midweek Update - Music Links!

Thursday, May 18th, 2006

Okay, someone asked for I Luv Merica as an actual downloadable song, so I took it upon myself to make links for all the music. There’s the link off to the right over there, but here they are too just to make it easy.

Track 1: DJ Blob - The Planet Retcon Theme

Track 2: DJ Blob - What Can I Get Ya Stargate Cafe Theme

Track 3: DJ Blob - The Girl From Somewhere In Brazil

Track 4: Jeffrey Vargo - I Luv Merica

Track 5: Jeffrey Vargo - Rendezvous Theme

DJ Blob - The Planet Retcon Theme

*EDIT*
Bob asked me to remove the theme as it is, and I quote, “Really, really unfinished.” So it is removed.
Musicians.
*END EDIT*

I just realized that I never posted the Planet Retcon theme that DJ Blob made for me, and that’s a shame, as it’ll be track 1 of the Planet Retcon Soundtrack (When we get enough songs to fill a 70 minute CD. That’s right, no twelve 2-minute tracks for you. You’ll get 35 2-minute tracks, even if it kills Bob. Or, more likely, we’ll extend the songs and you’ll get 15 5-minute tracks. Wouldn’t that be nice of us? I think so)

DJ Blob - The Girl From Somewhere in Brazil

Saturday, February 4th, 2006

The muzak for the clothing store at the beginning of the latest Stargate Cafe episode was written by our own multitalented DJ Blob, who, when he’s not laying the phat beats for the show, records the voices of John, General Keyes, and a ton of extras and one-shots like John Hoffenmeister.

Anyway, here’s the song, all tagged up and pretty, add it to your collection. Some day, I’ll have the time and gumption to put links to all the music off to the right, which is where they belong. But today isn’t that day.

Midweek Update

Monday, January 16th, 2006

We’re all done recording The Hoff and all I need now, aside from a couple sound effects (Difficulty: I don’t own a real time machine, so I’ll have to think of something that sounds like one), is to put them all together in the right order. Expect it up some time on Friday, as usual.

We have a new version of The Stargate Cafe theme song, to replace or compliment the earlier link. If the last one was sliced bread, this one has the butter.

Yeah, my metaphors suck like laundry.

Going through some of my old files, I found this picture that I made of the bar. Figured I’d put it up here with the link to the theme song:
