Planet Retcon Radio

Okay, a bevy of issues, both real life and podcast related, have kept the new Stargate Cafe from seeing the light of day. I won’t go into them all now, but I *will* say that we’re nearing the end of a *long* road here. I got the hardest stuff done last night and hope to get through the bulk of the rest tonight and tomorrow.

I was interviewed by the Sonic Society and the first half of that interview (Along with a replay of U.M.P.I.R.E.) are up in episode 56 for February 20, 2007.

Andrew Rothman (Who was Katie’s father Nicholas in the Stargate Cafe, and has done some other voices as well, including a computer voice in the upcoming season premiere that is still running late) was on the February 15th episode of Coverville, singing a haunting rendition of Papa Was a Rolling Stone, originally by the Temptations. You can get the song, and vote for it and any of the other songs there, at this link. But Drew’s is the best.

As predicted, the episode is late. We *do* have all the lines recorded so it shouldn’t be long (I’m hoping to get most of the voices laid down tonight) but, well, I’ve learned to not make promises

Planet Retcon has a new and deblogified front page. Hopefully this will help new visitors find something to listen to. This news page, which used to reside on the front page, is now contained within the /blog/ directory (http://planetretcon.com/blog/) or you can get to it by clicking the “news” bubble up top.

I’d love to hear opinions on it, good or bad. While I won’t go back to the blog front page, I will happily listen to all ideas on how to make the new front page better.
