Sorry for not replying quickly, but it's so quiet around here I don't generally check the site unless I need something. Which I happened to today.

In any case, as always I love your drawing style. Good to see more Gorby Originals(TM)

Here are a couple of comic book style pages that I created around the opening scene of the "Lost" script:

The first page depicts the rebel running into the Stargate Cafe.  The first frame shows a silhouette of the rebel running.  The diagonal lines will be colored to look like lasers.  The jagged looking track will be colored yellow, to depict light coming from the cafe doors.  The empty space will be colored dark purple/black, with the "Halt! You're Surrounded!  Give Up!" text filling in the negative space.  The thought balloon will have the "I've got to get to the hangar!" text in it.  The feet frame and eyes frame will have other thought boxes with the rest of the rebel "thought" text in it...

Welcome! Sorry about sitting on the application for 2 weeks, I've been kind of ignoring the board. 

There IS a Volcanicast section of the forum.  It gets used slightly less than the rest of the forum, which is pretty sad. But if you post there, I promise to answer within 2 weeks

If you purchase Toyfare magazine, issue 132 for August '08, you will see a letter from one "gorby".  Yes, the one and only true gorby...me.    The sad thing is that my 15 minutes of fame seems to be unfolding (bad pun, I know) in a magazine that only toy lovin' geeks buy.

Nevermind...I understand your phrasing now. I read it as you missed the non-air-force part of the question. However, we did hit all the other services, unless it's that other wierd one nobody really counts. So my bad...but only kinda.

Not to shoot you down but FYI:
GI Jane = Navy (Seals to be exact)
Private Benjamin = Army
Full metal Jacket = Marines
NONE of these refer to the Air Force, therefore i believe WE all managed to understand the quote.
